And it seems to me, that nothing is going to happen anytime soon, so let's start talking about the team without our star running back. Vince Young has been having his best offseason ever. Coaches are constantly commenting on his improvement in accuracy, as well as composure. So it seems that VY is finally growing into the star QB that I expected him to be.
Another guy that is really proving something to me is Myron Rolle. A few weeks ago, I questioned his commitment to football -- but he's doing everything in his power to prove me wrong. In fact, he actually made it to the OTA that everyone expected him to miss, despite the fact that he was still school in Oxford! Myron Rolle has also done well off the field, as he has been involved in flood relieve for awhile now. Sorry I doubted you, Myron.
Let it also be noted that our other running back have not been awful this offseason. Javon Ringer has had good results throughout, and is looking to be the starter (again, that's if CJ is a no-show). Undrafted RBs LeGarrette Blount & Stafon Johnson have also been impressing the coaching staff.
See, we're not all that bad without Johnson. Sure, we are a lot better with him; but still not too bad without.
